Local Historians Discuss Fifty-Year Legacy of Seattle World’s Fair


Step back 50 years to 1962. Ballard Historical Society will bring local historians Paula Becker and Alan Stein  to the Sunset Hill Community Clubhouse
on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Come hear and share stories based on their interviews of those who organized it, worked there and attended the fair. Get a preview of their new book, The Future Remembered: The 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and Its Legacy. Becker and Stein are staff historians at HistoryLink.org.

Ballard Historical Society will conduct a brief annual meeting and board elections before the discussion. Members, please attend to vote on proposed board members.
